Feed-in-Tariff consultation comes to an end
Governments consultation on the review of the Feed-in-Tariff Scheme ends
On 6th May 2011 the Department for Energy and Climate Change consultation into funding for solar Photovoltaic installation came to an end. The proposal to reduce funding for large scale installations over a capacity of 50Kw has been met with mixed reviews. The Governments proposal was intended to increase the allocation of funding to domestic customers, however many in the industry fear that cutting funding for commercial projects could damage the Solar industry.
